The Howard Hughes Corporation

The Howard Hughes Corporation (HHC) is known for innovative place-making, excellence in design and respect for the history and culture of Hawaii.  “We aspire to be the most creatively driven real estate company in the world,” says Simon Treacy, President, Hawaii of The Howard Hughes Corporation. “We rely on every person in the organization to reimagine what’s possible and to share an open dialogue as we pursue excellence.”

A Culture of Discovery
Our culture is one that values:

  • Above all our people:
    • We put people at the center of all we do, both employees and those we impact every day.
  • Imagination with purpose:
    • We rely on every person in the organization to reimagine what’s possible at the intersection of people and places.
  • Together we are more:
    • We are at our best when collaborating towards a common goal.
  • Knowledge to know-how:
    • Knowledge shows us the way, but only action can move us forward. This is why we don’t merely ask why, but constantly push to discover how.
  • Personal responsibility for positive change:
    • Taking responsibility is essential to leadership. We respect freedom, trust and autonomy so that every employee can enact positive change.
