Pickles at Forté Now Open in Downtown Honolulu

Downtown Honolulu (DoHo) is buzzing with excitement as Pickles at Forté, the city’s first air-conditioned indoor pickleball and social club, opened its doors in January. Located in the former Walmart store along Fort Street Mall, this unique venue blends the thrill of pickleball with a vibrant social atmosphere, making it the go-to destination for players and socialites alike. The building, purchased by Avalon in February for $38.25 million, currently features state-of-the-art pickleball courts and will soon include 25,000 square feet of restaurants and shops that complement pickleball, along with 450 parking stalls for visitors. 

“Pickles at Forté is a first-of-its-kind space for Downtown Honolulu,” says Andrew Yani, Chief Innovation Officer at Avalon Group and leader of Pickles at Forté. “We’re bringing people together for fitness, fun, and community in a way that reflects the energy and inclusivity of pickleball. This is about creating an experience that elevates the area and engages everyone.”

• Three (3) 1.5 hour reservations per week
• Access to other member’s reservations (does not count towards three)
