Dr. Vinh Tran recently joined Hawaii Dental Service (HDS) as dental director, bringing a wealth of experience in both clinical practice and dental education. With a career spanning private practices and community health centers across Hawaii and the mainland, Dr. Tran has contributed to improving oral health at organizations such as Premier Dental Group HI, Dr. Alan Fujimoto Inc., and Bay Clinic, now known as Hawaii Island Community Health Center.

He also served as an attending dentist with NYU Langone Health, mentoring dental residents on the Big Island. A forward-thinking leader in dental imaging, Dr. Tran is the founder of Evolve CBCT Diagnostics, a company dedicated to providing detailed radiology reports for advanced dental imaging.

Dr. Tran holds a B.S. in Health from the University of Houston, a D.D.S. from Howard University, and a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Florida.
