Ohana Pacific Health, Hawaii’s largest post-acute care organization, announced the recent promotion of Diana Lau to Vice President of People Operations. Lau is responsible for overseeing the organization’s talent and people strategies, culture, and workforce development efforts. Lau and her team support more than 1,350 employees across the state. 

Lau joined Ohana Pacific Health as the Director of People Operations in 2019. During her tenure, she successfully led the integration of HR functions during mergers and acquisitions, implemented effective retention strategies which resulted in reduced turnover rates, conducted organizational assessments and implemented changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and expanded partnerships and workforce collaboration to elevate healthcare careers, through internships and Bridge programs. 

Prior to joining OPH, Lau served as the Director of Finance & Administration for Hale Ho Aloha Nursing Home, and has held Finance and Accounting roles at various organizations including Hawaii Pacific University, Dellew Corporation, and Hawaii National Bank. 

Lau earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Grinnell College and an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University.
