In a small office, safety and security officer Clayton Hanashiro monitors the feeds from cameras scattered throughout the Hilton grounds. “This is like a 911 center for a small city,” says Dennis Cruz, director of safety and security for the hotel. “With our bike units we can be anywhere in less than three minutes.”
In addition to its own security force, the village also has a post office, a medical clinic, doctors on call, two chapels and two Starbucks coffee shops.
