Aloha United Way: Changing Lives, Celebrating Our Campaign Heroes
A special dedication celebrating the generous support of our workplace campaign coordinators and donors.

You may have heard that a few dollars a week can create a profound impact on our community. Through Aloha United Way, that impact is real, and it’s touching lives across Hawaiʻi.
Eva Galleria Rosa: A Beacon of Hope
Eva Galleria Rosa, a dedicated Aloha United Way campaign coordinator at Waianae Comprehensive Center, embodies the spirit of giving. With three decades of service, she has made incredible contributions. Her latest achievement: a mobile medical van, named in her honor. This van provides critical medical services to the homeless population, who often hesitate to seek help in traditional hospitals.
Aloha United Way supports services like this through its Safety Net Fund, which covers medical care, mental health services, counseling, and emergency funds for housing, rent, and utilities.
A Community United for Good
Eva has spearheaded campaigns to raise funds for Aloha United Way, rallying her co-workers for donations, no matter how small. The power of these contributions, sometimes just a few dollars at a time, has added up to significant yearly sums, often exceeding $20,000. These contributions, combined with workplace campaigns across Hawaiʻi, resulted in a remarkable $12 million raised in 2022 alone. All this money stays right here in Hawaiʻi, helping neighbors in need.
Join the ranks of compassionate individuals like Eva Galleria Rosa who are making a difference in our community.
