Di Salas is a seasoned marketing and communications leader with more than 15 years of experience in brand strategy, business development, and community engagement. She currently serves as Director of Marketing & Communications at Hawaii Dental Service (HDS), where she is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, business forecasts, and market analyses. Di leads internal and external communications, community relations, and HDS’s signature programs, including SMILEWell, an oral health wellness program for employers.

Since joining HDS in 2018, Di has steadily advanced through leadership roles, earning three promotions on her way to Director of Marketing & Communications. Her previous leadership roles at Easter Seals Hawaii and The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Division further demonstrate her commitment to mission-driven work that builds trust and strengthens communities across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.

Born in Guam and raised in Saipan and Hawaiʻi, Di brings a deep understanding of the region she serves. She holds a Master’s Degree in Spanish and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is a member of the American Marketing Association – Hawaii Chapter, the Public Relations Society of America – Hawaii Chapter, and the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals. Di is also a proud alumna of the Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance and an active volunteer with local nonprofits.
