Sherri Okinaga, Vice President of Talent Development, First Hawaiian Bank

Sherri Okinaga brings 30 years of business experience ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurial start-ups.  As First Hawaiian Bank’s Vice President of Talent Development, she oversees leadership development, succession management and employee engagement.  Sherri is an Advisory Board Member of the Mink Center for Business & Leadership and she is passionate about lifting up talent in Hawaiʻi and helping organizations achieve targeted results through leadership excellence.

 

Jeff Wagoner, CEO, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts

As President and CEO of Outrigger Hospitality Group, Jeff Wagoner oversees all aspects of the company’s multi-branded, global portfolio of hotels, resorts, vacation condominiums and retail operations while guiding the direction, growth and strategic priorities for the iconic beach resort brand. Wagoner’s experience in hospitality spans 30 years – including leadership positions at Trump Hotel Group, Wyndham Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Doubletree and Marriott International.

 

Major Jeff Martin, Divisional Leader, The Salvation Army – Hawaiian and Pacific Islands

Major Jeff served in the U.S. Air Force for four years from 1974 to 1978.  He entered the Salvation Army Training College in 1978 with his wife Eloisa and he was ordained/commissioned as Lieutenants in 1980. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

 

Moderator: Rusty Komori, Motivational Speaker, Author, TV Host, Leadership Consultant, and Tennis Professional

Rusty Komori is a tennis pro and was the Head Coach for the Punahou School Boy’s Varsity Tennis Team for 22 years, winning 22 consecutive State Championships setting a National Record with the longest streak in the United States in all sports.  After retiring as head coach from Punahou in 2015, Rusty spent the next 2 ½ years writing a book titled Beyond The Lines:  Creating A Leadership Culture To Achieve Extraordinary Results which is receiving amazing reviews from many CEO’s and Presidents of companies, sports coaches, parents, and students.  Rusty also hosts his own live TV show, also titled Beyond The Lines, winning “TV Show Of The Year” in 2018 and his episodes can be viewed on YouTube and RustyKomori.com.  He was inducted into Creighton University’s Hall of Fame in 2014 and is an inspirational speaker and leadership coach.
